EMPHASIS: New Troopers Assigned To Troop I

Captain Lee Ann H. Kenley, Commanding Officer of Troop I, announces the assignment of two new troopers to Troop I.
The newly assigned troopers were members of the 89th Recruit Class, which began training on January 16, 2009, at the Missouri State Highway Patrol Training Academy, in Jefferson City, and graduated on July 10, 2009. The troopers will report to duty at Troop I Headquarters in Rolla on July 27, 2009, and will continue their training under the guidance of their field training officer.
Trooper Joseph T. Peart has been assigned to Zone 9, Cuba. Trooper Peart, 22, is a native of Moberly, Missouri. He is a graduate of Northeast R-IV High School in Cairo, Missouri, and is also a 2007 graduate of Moberly Area Community College, where he obtained an associate of arts degree. Sergeant M.A. Mitchell will serve as Tpr. Peart’s field training officer.
Trooper Evan T. Hane has also been assigned to Zone 9, Cuba. Trooper Hane, 21, is a native of Brookfield, Missouri. He is a graduate of Brookfield High School and Moberly Area Community College, where he obtained an associate of arts degree. Corporal J.A. Mulkey will serve as Tpr. Hane’s field training officer.
