EMPHASIS: Three Promotions In Troop H


Captain Duane L. Robinson, commanding officer of Troop H in St. Joseph, announces the promotions of three officers.
Corporal Mark B. Richardson has been promoted to the rank of sergeant and designated the zone commander of Zone 6, in St. Joseph. Prior to his promotion, he was assistant zone commander of Zone 5, which serves Andrew and Buchanan counties. Sergeant Richardson is a 14-year veteran of the Patrol. He is also a 19-year veteran of the United States Army National Guard.
Corporal Mark A. Wilhoit has been promoted to the rank of sergeant and will remain in his current assignment of the Troop H criminal enforcement team. Sergeant Wilhoit is the Troop H canine handler. He is a graduate of Cameron High School and a veteran of the United States Army. He began his career with the Patrol in 1995 as a commercial vehicle inspector. He is married to the former Rebecca Lokamas of Valley, Nebraska.
Trooper Travis L. Williams has been promoted to the rank of corporal and designated the assistant zone commander of Zone 5, in St. Joseph. Prior to his promotion, he was assigned to Zone 5 as a trooper. Zone 5 serves Andrew and Buchanan counties. Corporal Williams is a graduate of Benton High School and has attended Northwest Missouri State University and Missouri Area Mineral College. He holds an associate’s degree in criminal justice from Missouri Area Mineral College. Corporal Williams is a 10-year veteran of the Patrol. He is married to the former Marlie Saxton of Bolocow, Missouri.
