EMPHASIS: Troop I Announces Special Olympic T-shirt Sales



In 2009, Missouri State Highway Patrol employees from Troop I will again be selling shirts to benefit Special Olympics of Missouri (SOMO). Last year Troop I employees raised $8,768.00 in sales and donations for SOMO.
On Saturday, March 28, 2009, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m., you may purchase a Special Olympic item from a Troop I employee at the St. Robert Wal-Mart. The unique logo on these items is re-designed every year to commemorate the annual torch run and the celebrated event that takes place when it arrives at the location of the Special Olympic games.
Please help the athletes in your area who are striving to improve themselves by supporting this event.
