EMPHASIS: New Troopers Assigned To Troop B
Captain John W. Elliott, commanding officer of Troop B, Macon, is pleased to announce the assignment of three new troopers to Troop B effective July 11, 2008. Each of the new troopers were members of the 87th Missouri State Highway Patrol Recruit Class that graduated from the Patrol Academy on July 11, 2008.
Trooper Zachary A. Harrison is assigned to Zone 7, serving Knox and Lewis counties. He is a native of Hurdland, Missouri, and graduated from Knox County R-1 High School in Edina, Missouri. Trooper Harrison attended Moberly Area Community College in Moberly, Missouri, where he earned an associate’s degree in criminal justice. Prior to his appointment to the Patrol, he served as an associate pastor in Edina, Missouri.
Trooper Grant T. Johnson is assigned to Zone 10, serving Randolph and Monroe counties. He is a native of Centralia, Missouri, and graduated from Centralia High School in Centralia, Missouri. Trooper Johnson attended Truman State University in Kirksville, Missouri, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in justice systems. Prior to his appointment to the Patrol, he served as a Moberly, Missouri, police officer. He is married to Megan (Williams) Johnson.
Trooper Tabitha D. Nichols is assigned to Zone 11, serving Randolph and Monroe counties. She is a native of Moberly, Missouri. After completing a home school program, she attended Moberly Area Community College in Moberly, Missouri, where she earned an associate’s degree in law enforcement. Prior to her appointment to the Patrol, she served as a Randolph County sheriff’s deputy. She is married to Jason Nichols and she has two stepchildren: Jeremy, 9, and Brittney, 7.
