EMPHASIS: Body of Missing Person Located In Iowa
On March 21, 2007, the Missouri State Highway Patrol and Missouri Information and Analysis Center (MIAC) posted an Endangered and Missing Persons Alert for Pulaski County resident, Winston Day, who was last seen leaving Ft. Leonard Wood.
On March 25, 2007, Iowa law enforcement authorities found the body of Winston Day on a Keokuk County Road near Webster, Iowa, which is located approximately 80 miles north of the Missouri State Line. According to the Keokuk County Sheriff Ron George, Mr. Day had evidently turned down a dirt road and went off into a ditch, where his vehicle became disabled on a concrete culvert. The body of Mr. Day was located approximately 150 yards from his vehicle. According to Sheriff George, foul play is not suspected in the death of Mr. Day.
