EMPHASIS: Captain Ellis Announces Promotion Of Lieutenant Brian Anderson


Captain Vincent J. Ellis, commanding officer of Troop A, announced effective February 1, 2008, Sergeant Brian Anderson from Troop B, Macon, MO, will be promoted to the rank of lieutenant and assigned to Troop A as the District 1 lieutenant.
Lieutenant Anderson joined the Patrol as a member of the 70th Recruit Class graduating in December 1995. Upon graduation from the Patrol’s Law Enforcement Academy in Jefferson City, he was assigned to Troop B, Zone 11, Randolph County. He was promoted to corporal in April 2002, and assigned to Zone 2, Macon County. He was promoted to sergeant in November 2003, and assigned to Zone 11, Randolph County.
Lieutenant Anderson was born in Kirksville, Missouri. He graduated from Schuyler County High School in 1991. He graduated from the University of Central Missouri in 1995 with a bachelor’s of science degree in criminal justice. Lieutenant Anderson and his wife, Michele, have one daughter, Brooklyn, 3.
