EMPHASIS: DRUG ARRESTS MADE IN RANDOLPH COUNTY
On September 10, 2003, members of the Missouri State Highway Patrol Troop B Marijuana Eradication Team and the Randolph County Sheriff’s Department arrested Michael G. Davis, 43, of Moberly, Missouri; David S. Williams, 38, of Moberly, Missouri; and Christopher L. Stafford, 20, of Moberly, Missouri, for Manufacturing a Controlled Substance (Marijuana) and Possession of a Controlled Substance (Marijuana) with Intent to Distribute. The individuals arrested are being held in the Randolph County and the Moberly City Jail on a 20-hour hold.
The arrests stemmed from a six-week investigation and subsequent execution of a search warrant conducted in rural Randolph County. The investigation was conducted by the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Randolph County Sheriff’s Department, Moberly Police Department, Huntsville Police Department, and the Drug Enforcement Administration.
The charges for which the individuals were arrested are mere accusations and are not evidence of guilt. Evidence in support of the charges must be presented before a court of competent jurisdiction whose duty is to determine guilt or innocence.
