EMPHASIS: Truck Driver Arrested For Causing Fatal Crash On Interstate 40


On July 15, 2008, Jeffrey R. Knight, of Muscle Shoals, Alabama, was involved in a multi-vehicle crash on Interstate 40 just east of Mason Road in Town and Country, Missouri. As a result of the crash, three people were killed and 15 were injured.
On Friday, April 10, 2009, two officers from the Missouri State Highway Patrol arrested Knight in Muscle Shoals, Alabama, on three counts of manslaughter and escorted him back to St. Louis County.
The charges for which the above subject was arrested are mere accusations and are not evidence of guilt. Evidence in support of the charges must be presented before a court of competent jurisdiction whose duty is to determine guilt or innocence.
