EMPHASIS: Sobriety Checkpoint Results





A total of 4 arrests and 42 warnings were issued as a result of a sobriety checkpoint held in Nodaway County, on MO. 148 highway. The checkpoint was conducted on July 14, 2006, from 11:00 p.m. to 3:00 a.m.



This total includes 4 arrests for non-moving violations. A total of 190 vehicles were checked at the checkpoint. There were no alcohol related arrests made during the operation.



Captain Johnnie B. Hoggatt, Commanding Officer of Troop H stated, “ We were pleased with the results of the checkpoint, every motorist that came into the checkpoint was sober and that is encouraging.”
