EMPHASIS: Promotion of Shane Green to Sergeant





Captain Vincent J. Ellis, Commanding Officer, Troop A Lee’s Summit, announced the promotion of Corporal Shane Green to the rank of sergeant, effective February 6, 2005. Sergeant Green has been designated as the zone commander of Johnson County, Zone 12.



Sergeant Shane Green graduated from the Patrol Academy in January 1996, and was assigned to Lafayette County. He was promoted to the rank of corporal in June 2001 and was assigned as the assistant zone commander in Lafayette County. Sergeant Green is a native of Albany, Missouri.



He is married to the former Krystal Auten, Albany, Missouri, and they have two children: Madison and Morgan. Sergeant Green graduated from Albany R-III High School in 1990. He attended Central Missouri State University, Warrensburg, and graduated in 1993 with a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice. He was a sergeant in the Missouri Army National Guard’s Artillery Unit, Albany, from September 1988 until March 1999.
