EMPHASIS: Troop H: Nodaway County Sobriety Checkpoint Results

On April 29, 2011, a sobriety checkpoint was conducted in Nodaway County. A total of 9 troopers were assigned to the four-hour operation.
No alcohol-related arrests were made during the checkpoint. Troopers issued 38 warnings to motorists for minor violations. A total of 167 vehicles went through the checkpoint.
Captain Duane L. Robinson stated, “We were encouraged by the absence of impaired drivers, and the fact that no summonses were issued by troopers to motorists for violations."
