EMPHASIS: Troop I Announces Results Of DWI Saturation
Captain Lee Ann H. Kenley, commanding officer of Troop I, announces the results of a DWI saturation patrol conducted in Laclede County on April 15, 2011. During the operation, troopers placed special emphasis on patrolling those highways where in the past a higher number of impaired drivers were either involved in a traffic crash or arrested for DWI.
During the enforcement operation troopers stopped 18 vehicles, which resulted in the following enforcement activities:
DWI: 1
Speed: 5
Hazardous Moving Violation: 2
Misdemeanor Warrant Arrest: 1
Non-moving Violations: 2
Warnings: 15
Captain Kenley stated, “If you see what appears to be an impaired driver on a Missouri highway, or you need to report an emergency, please dial the Patrol’s emergency hotline, 1-800-525-5555 or * 55 on your cellular phone.”
