EMPHASIS: Hannibal Resident Arrested For Making A Terrorist Threat
On Saturday, April 11, 2009, at approximately 5 p.m., members of the Missouri State Highway Patrol arrested Robyn R. Nalley, 41, of Hannibal, Missouri, for felony making a terrorist threat. The arrest was made after Nalley contacted a Hannibal school official advising of her plans to deploy a bomb at a benefit to raise scholarship funds being held at the Hannibal American Legion Hall on April 11, 2009.
Nalley is currently being held in the Marion County Jail on a 24-hour hold pending issuance of warrants. The Missouri State Highway Patrol was assisted by the Hannibal Police Department and the Ralls County Sheriff’s Department.
The charge for which Nalley was arrested is mere accusation and is not evidence of guilt. Evidence in support of the charge must be presented before a court of competent jurisdiction whose duty is to determine guilt or innocence.
