EMPHASIS: Drug Investigation
Captain Luke Vislay, director of the Division of Drug and Crime Control, announces the results of a joint narcotics investigation in Camden County.
On July 9, 2008, members of the Lake Area Narcotics Enforcement Group (LANEG) concluded an 11-month covert drug investigation by serving numerous arrests warrants throughout the Camden County area. During this 11-month investigation, an undercover officer with LANEG infiltrated a local drug ring and as a result, 40 arrest warrants were issued on 26 individuals. These warrants were issued for sales of various controlled substances, including cocaine, methamphetamine, marijuana, and oxycontin.
Of the 26 individuals, 14 have been arrested since July 9, 2008. The Missouri State Highway Patrol, Missouri State Water Patrol, Camden County Sheriff’s Office, Osage Beach Police Department, Lake Ozark Police Department, and the Camdenton Police Department assisted with the arrest of these individuals. A search warrant was also served at a residence in the Camdenton area. That search revealed approximately 1/2 ounce of methamphetamine and one pound of marijuana, as well and two illegal firearms.
The following individuals were arrested on the warrants:

· Robert Brown, 49, Sunrise Beach
· Nichole Super, 23, Camdenton
· Pedro Munoz, 24, Osage Beach
· Christopher Howard, 23, Sunrise Beach
· Shawn Shelton, 30, Camdenton
· Jeffrey Allen, 25, Camdenton
· Blain Heier, 20, Roach.
The remaining individuals are actively being sought for apprehension.
The Lake Area Narcotics Enforcement Group is a multi-jurisdictional drug task force. Its members include the sheriff’s departments of Camden, Gasconade, Crawford, Pulaski, Laclede, and Dallas counties, as well as the Lebanon and Osage Beach police departments. LANEG is governed by a board of directors, and is coordinated by the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
