EMPHASIS: Results Of DWI Saturation In Buchanan County


Captain Duane L. Robinson, commanding officer of Troop H in St. Joseph, announces the results of a driving while intoxicated saturation held on March 12, 2010, in Buchanan County.
Troopers issued 20 summonses, arrested four persons for driving while intoxicated, and made one arrest for a criminal misdemeanor offense. Troopers also issued 71 warnings during the eight- hour operation.
Captain Robinson stated, “As the weather begins to moderate, activities and gatherings become more frequent. For some, this will include alcohol and driving home. The Missouri State Highway Patrol conducts saturation programs to remove impaired drivers and safeguard motorists.”
