EMPHASIS: MSHP: Ms. Cathy Brown Named Director, Fleet & Facilities Division
Lieutenant Colonel Eric T. Olson, acting superintendent of the Missouri State Highway Patrol, announces the following:
Ms. Catherine F. Brown has been appointed to the position of director of the Patrol’s Fleet and Facilities Division, General Headquarters, Jefferson City, MO. The appointment was effective January 16, 2019.
Brown previously worked for the Patrol from 1998-2007 as assistant director of its Construction Maintenance Division. She then joined the Office of Administration Facilities Management, Design and Construction as a program manager. She was promoted to deputy director of that division in April 2009, and named director of OA’s Facilities Management, Design and Construction in July 2010, where she served until her appointment to the Patrol.
Brown was born in Kansas City, MO. She graduated from Sikeston High School in Sikeston, MO, in 1984. Brown earned both a Bachelor of Science (1988) and a Master of Public Administration (1991) from the University of Missouri-Columbia, MO.
Director Brown and her husband, retired Missouri Capitol Police Captain Paul D. Minze, have two grown daughters.
