EMPHASIS: Four New Troopers Assigned To Troop E

Captain Philip E. Gregory, commanding officer of Troop E, Poplar Bluff, is pleased to announce the assignment of four new troopers to Troop E. The new troopers were members of the 113th Recruit Class that graduated from the Patrol Academy on June 24, 2022. The new troopers will report for duty in their assigned zone on July 11, 2022.

Trooper Gregory A. Bixler, of Lilbourn, Missouri, has been assigned to Zone 8, which serves the citizens of New Madrid and Pemiscot counties. Prior to his appointment to the Patrol, he worked as a driver examiner. Trooper Bixler is married and has three children.

Trooper Jaxon B. Edwards, of Harrison, Arkansas, has been assigned to Zone 10, which serves the citizens of Dunklin County. Prior to his appointment to the Patrol, he worked at the Poinsett County Sheriff’s Office in Harrisburg, Arkansas.

Trooper Denny J. Smith, of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, has been assigned to Zone 2, which serves the citizens of Butler and Ripley counties. Prior to his appointment, he worked for Bass Pro Shops in Springfield, Missouri. He currently serves in the Missouri Army National Guard.

Trooper Taylor J. Wiebe, of Wichita, Kansas, has been assigned to Zone 8, which serves the citizens of New Madrid and Pemiscot counties. He has a Bachelor of Science from Pittsburg State University, in Pittsburg, Kansas. He currently serves in the Army National Guard.
