EMPHASIS: Trooper Jeffrey J. Wilt Promoted To Corporal
Captain Brandon M. White, commanding officer of Troop F, announces the following promotion effective September 16, 2026.
Trooper Jeffrey J. Wilt is promoted to corporal of Troop F, Zone 9, which serves the citizens of Callaway and Montgomery counties.
Corporal Wilt joined the Missouri State Highway Patrol on February 1, 2021, as a member of the 111th Recruit Class. Upon graduating from the Patrol’s Law Enforcement Academy, he was assigned to Troop C, Zone 14, which serves the citizens of St. Francois and Washington counties. On February 1, 2024, he transferred to Troop B, Zone 8, which serves the citizens of Marion and Ralls counties. On September 1, 2025, he transferred to Troop F, Zone 10, which serves the citizens of Boone County.
Cpl. Wilt grew up in Shelbina, MO. In 2018, he graduated from South Shelby High School in Shelbina, MO. In 2021, he earned an Associate of Arts degree in criminal justice from Mineral Area College.
