EMPHASIS: Corporal Bradley E. Maudlin Promoted To Sergeant
Captain Shawn P. Skoglund, commanding officer of Troop H, St. Joseph, announces the following promotion effective May 16, 2026.
Corporal Bradley E. Maudlin has been promoted to sergeant and designated the zone commander for Zone 2, serving the citizens of Nodaway and Worth counties.
Maudlin was appointed to the Patrol as a member of the 85th Recruit Class. After graduating from the Patrol’s Law Enforcement Academy in July 2006, he was assigned to Troop H, Zone 10, Daviess and DeKalb counties. He transferred to the Gaming Division in July 2010, and was assigned to Argosy Casino in Kansas City, MO. In July 2012, Maudlin transferred back to Troop H, Zone 10. In April 2013, he was promoted to corporal and designated the assistant zone supervisor of Zone 2, Nodaway and Worth counties, where he remained until his promotion.
Sergeant Maudlin grew up in Albany, MO, and graduated from Albany RIII in 2003. Before joining the Patrol, he attended North Central Missouri College in Trenton, MO. In 2005, he graduated from the Law Enforcement Academy at Missouri Western State University in St. Joseph. Sgt. Maudlin is married and has three children.
