EMPHASIS:
Results Of Sobriety Checkpoint In Nodaway County
Captain James E. McDonald, commanding officer of Troop H, St. Joseph, announces the results of a sobriety checkpoint in Nodaway County. The checkpoint was held from 10 p.m. on March 18, 2017, to 2 a.m. on March 19, 2017. As a result of this operation officers made contact with 215 vehicles and issued 34 warnings.
“There is no room for impaired drivers on Missouri roadways. If you choose to drink and drive, you will lose,” states Captain McDonald. “If your plans include consuming alcohol, have a sober designated driver."
The only 100 percent survivable traffic crash is the one that never happens. Make sure everyone in the vehicle is properly restrained in a seat belt or child restraint. Every day as we travel on Missouri's roadways, we trust that every driver on the road is going to obey the speed limit, pay attention, and drive sober.
"Don't Violate The Trust."
