B250004 December 19, 2025 EMPHASIS: New Troopers Assigned To Troop B Captain Erik A. Gottman, commanding officer of Troop B, Macon, MO, announces Trooper Miles A. Hayden, Trooper Jordan N. Schafer, and Trooper Caden M. Wilson have been assigned to Troop B. Troopers Hayden, Schafer, and Wilson were members of the Missouri State Highway Patrol’s 124th Recruit Class that began training on July 1, 2025, and graduated from the Patrol’s Law Enforcement Academy on December 19, 2025. Troopers Hayden, Schafer, and Wilson will report for duty on January 5, 2026.
Trooper Hayden has been assigned to Zone 11, Monroe and Randolph counties. He is a native of Zionsville, IN, and graduated from Zionsville Community High School. After high school, Trooper Hayden was employed by Alpine Home Air as Technical Support until his employment with the Patrol.
Trooper Schafer has been assigned to Zone 10, Monroe and Randolph counties. He is a native of Hannibal, MO, and graduated from Hannibal High School. After high school, Trooper Schafer attended the University of Missouri in Columbia, MO, receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in biological sciences, until his employment with the Patrol.
Trooper Wilson has been assigned to Zone 6, Clark and Scotland counties. He is a native of Provo, UT, and graduated from Viewmont High School, in Bountiful, UT. After high school, Trooper Wilson attended Utah Valley University in Orem, UT, receiving an associate of science degree. After college, Trooper Wilson was employed by Marksman Security as a security guard prior his employment with the Patrol.
