Captain Ronald S. Johnson, commanding officer of Troop C, Weldon Spring, would like to announce that on Monday, December 20, 2010, a ceremony will be conducted to dedicate a portion of Interstate 44 as a memorial highway honoring Corporal Dennis Engelhard. Corporal Engelhard lost his life on December 25, 2009, in the line of duty while serving the citizens of Missouri.

Dedication ceremonies will begin at 1p.m. at the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Troop C Headquarters, located at 891 Technology Drive, Weldon Spring, Missouri. This ceremony will honor Corporal Dennis Engelhard who tragically lost his life while working a traffic crash on I-44 at Missouri Highway 109.
