Captain Scott A. Shipers, commanding officer of Troop A, Lee’s Summit, announces the following promotion effective September 1, 2019.

Trooper Bryan J. Hamerle was promoted to the rank of corporal and designated as an assistant zone supervisor of Zone 11, which serves Cass County. Corporal Hamerle was born in Liberty, Missouri. He graduated from Liberty High School, in Liberty, in 2007. Corporal Hamerle is married to Rebecca (Vincent) Hamerle, who is originally from Olathe, Kansas.

The only 100 percent survivable traffic crash is the one that never happens. Make sure everyone in the vehicle is properly restrained in a seat belt or child restraint. Every day as we travel on Missouri’s roadways, we trust that every driver on the road is going to obey the speed limit, pay
attention, and drive sober.
“Don’t Violate The Trust.”
