B260001 January 12, 2026 EMPHASIS: Troop B Promotion and Transfers Effective January 16, 2026
Captain Erik A. Gottman, commanding officer of Troop B, Macon, announces the following promotion and transfers effective January 16, 2026.
Trooper Tyler C. Fuller is being promoted to the rank of corporal and will transfer to Troop B, Zone 3, serving the citizens of Linn and Chariton counties. He will be designated as the assistant zone commander of Zone 3.
Fuller was appointed to the Patrol on January 4, 2016. After graduating from the Patrol’s Law Enforcement Academy in Jefferson City, he was assigned to Troop B, Zone 9, Marion and Ralls counties. In November of 2019, he transferred to Troop B, Zone 2, Macon and Shelby counties. Corporal Fuller is a native of Clarence, MO, and graduated from South Shelby High School. Prior to his appointment to the Patrol, he attended Moberly Area Community College in Moberly, MO.
Corporal Chad D. Primm will transfer from Troop B, Zone 3, Linn and Chariton counties to Troop B, Zone 2, Macon and Shelby counties. He will be designated assistant zone commander of Zone 2.
Primm was appointed to the Patrol on January 8, 2006. After graduating from the Patrol’s Law Enforcement Academy in Jefferson City, he was assigned to Troop H, Zone 7, Clinton and Caldwell counties. In October 2009, he transferred to Troop B, Zone 11, Randolph and Monroe counties. In October 2011, he transferred to Troop B, Zone 1, serving the citizens of Macon and Shelby counties. On October 1, 2022, he was promoted to the rank of corporal and designated the assistant zone commander of Zone 3, Linn and Chariton counties.
Corporal Primm is a native of Macon, MO, and graduated from Macon R-1 High School. Before being appointed to the Patrol, he attended Moberly Area Community College where he received an Associate of Arts in criminal justice. After graduating from college, Corporal Primm was employed with the Macon Police Department where he served as a city police officer and achieved the rank of sergeant.
