EMPHASIS: Troop G Announces Promotion And Transfer
Captain Garrett J. Loring, commanding officer of Troop G, Willow Springs, announces the following promotion effective June 1, 2026.
Trooper Tyler D. Pond was promoted to the rank of corporal and assigned as assistant zone supervisor of Zone 4, which serves the citizens of northern Howell and Shannon counties.
Corporal Pond began his career with the Missouri State Highway Patrol as a member of the 99th Recruit Class, which entered training on July 1, 2014, and graduated on December 9, 2014. Upon graduation, he was assigned to Troop G, Zone 7, where he served the citizens of southern Howell and Oregon counties.
A native of West Plains, MO, Cpl. Pond graduated from West Plains High School and attended Missouri State University–West Plains.
