EMPHASIS:
New Troopers Assigned To Troop E
Captain Jeffrey N. Vitale, commanding officer of Troop E, Poplar Bluff, is pleased to announce the assignment of three new troopers to Troop E. The new troopers were members of the Missouri State Highway Patrol’s 105th Recruit Class that graduated from the Patrol Academy on June 29, 2018.
Trooper Jared C. Chronister, of Mountain Grove, Missouri, has been assigned to Zone 8, which serves the citizens of New Madrid and Pemiscot counties. Trooper Chronister is a graduate of Cabool High School. Trooper Chronister’s field training officer will be Sergeant Marcel M. Jones.
Trooper Justin C. Johnson, of Doniphan, Missouri, has been assigned to Zone 7, which serves the citizens of Mississippi, New Madrid, and Scott counties. Trooper Johnson is a graduate of Doniphan High School and holds a Bachelor of Arts from Southeast Missouri State University in Cape Girardeau. Trooper Johnson’s field training officer will be Trooper Blake D. Wunderlich.
Trooper Tyler R. Sappington, of Pilot Knob, Missouri, has been assigned to Zone 9, which serves the citizens of New Madrid and Pemiscot counties. Trooper Sappington is a graduate of Arcadia Valley Academy in Pilot Knob, and holds an associate of applied science degree from Mineral Area College in Park Hills, Missouri. Trooper Sappington’s field training officer will be Corporal Ricky L. Vannada.
