EMPHASIS: Captain Jon Pruiett Announces Promotions
Captain Jon Pruiett, commanding officer of Troop I, Rolla, is pleased to announce the following promotions effective July 1, 2026.
Trooper Caleb C. Marlow has been promoted to the rank of corporal and designated as the assistant supervisor of Zone 4, serving Phelps and Maries counties.
Marlow was appointed to the Patrol on July 1, 2019, as a member of the 108th Recruit Class. After graduating from the Patrol’s Law Enforcement Academy, he was assigned to Troop C, Zone 11, serving the citizens of Franklin County. On July 1, 2022, Marlow transferred to Troop I, Zone 1, Phelps and Maires counties.
Corporal Marlow is a graduate of Iberia High School. After graduation, he attended Columbia College in Jefferson City, MO, where he earned an Associate of Science in criminal justice.
Corporal Stephen R. House has been promoted to the rank of sergeant and designated as the supervisor of Troop I’s Marine Operations.
House was appointed to the Patrol on July 1, 2015, as a member of the 101st Recruit Class. After graduating from the Patrol’s Law Enforcement Academy, he was assigned to Troop I, Zone 4, Phelps and Maries counties. House transferred to Zone 5, Laclede County, Marine Operations, on April 1, 2022. On April 1, 2024, House was promoted to the rank of corporal and served as an assistant zone supervisor of Troop I Marine Operations.
Sergeant House is a graduate of Conway High School. After graduation, he attended Missouri State University and earned an Associate of Science in criminal justice.
Corporal Shawn M. Blackston has been promoted to the rank of sergeant and designated as the supervisor of Zone 6, Phelps and Maries counties.
Blackston was appointed to the Patrol on July 1, 2015, as a member of the 101st Recruit Class. After graduating from the Patrol’s Law Enforcement Academy, he was assigned to Zone 4, Phelps and Maries counties. Blackston was promoted to the rank of corporal and served as an assistant zone supervisor of Zone 4, on September 1, 2022.
Sergeant Blackston is a graduate of North Callaway High School. After graduation, he attended University of Central Missouri where he received a Bachelor of Science in criminal justice.
