EMPHASIS:
Two New Troopers Assigned To Troop I
Captain Eddie A. Blaylock, commanding officer of Troop I, Rolla, Missouri, announces two new troopers have been assigned to Troop I. The new troopers were members of the 117th Recruit Class that graduated from the Patrol Academy on June 23, 2023. The 117th Recruit Class reported to the Academy on January 3, 2023, to begin the 25-week training to become a trooper. The new troopers will report to duty on Monday, July 10, 2023.
Trooper Gary W. Picard will be assigned to Zone 9, Crawford County. Trooper Picard’s field training officer will be Corporal Joseph Peart. Trooper Picard is a 2020 graduate of Willow Springs High School, in Willow Springs, Missouri. Trooper Picard continued his education at Missouri State University in West Plains, Missouri.
Trooper Igor V. Brutsky-Stempkovsky will be assigned to Zone 6, Pulaski County. Trooper Brutsky-Stempkovsky’s field training officer will be Corporal Geoffrey Wensel. Trooper Brutsky-Stempkovsky is a 2016 graduate of Independence High School in Roseville, California. Trooper Brutsky-Stempkovsky continued his education at American River College in North Highlands, California, where he studied business administration.
