Troop F Promotion
Captain Jason N. Crites, commanding officer of Troop F, announces the following promotion effective March 1, 2024.
Corporal Dennis D. Mathes has been promoted to sergeant and will remain in his current assignment in marine operations. Sergeant Mathes has been designated the zone supervisor of Troop F, Zone 17, which serves the citizens at Lake of the Ozarks.
Mathes was appointed to the Patrol on July 1, 2009, as a member of the 90th Recruit Class. After completing his training at the Patrol’s Law Enforcement Academy, he was assigned to Troop A, Zone 10, Saline County. On November 1, 2014, he was promoted to corporal and designated assistant zone supervisor of Troop A, Zone 10, Saline County. On April 29, 2019, he transferred to Troop F, Zone 17, at Lake of the Ozarks.
Sergeant Mathes was born in Quincy, Illinois and graduated in 2007 from Clark County R-1 High School in Kahoka, Missouri. He attended Mineral Area College in Park Hills, Missouri, and graduated in 2009 with an Associate of Applied Science in criminal justice. Sergeant Mathes is married to Jaclyn (Otte) and they have three children, Wyatt, Weslyn and Waelyn.
