EMPHASIS: 15 New Troopers Assigned To Troop C

Captain Stephen B. Ferrier, commanding officer of Troop C, is pleased to announce 15 new troopers have been assigned to Troop C. The new troopers were members of the Patrol’s 108th Recruit Class, which graduated on Friday, December 20. The troopers completed 25 weeks of intense training at the Missouri State Highway Patrol’s Law Enforcement Academy in Jefferson City, Missouri. The new troopers will report to their assignments on Monday, January 6. They will work with a field training officer for approximately three months before working independently. The new troopers’ assignments are as follows:

Trooper Bryce A. Alcorn, a native of Piedmont, Missouri, has been assigned to Zone 4, serving the citizens of South St. Louis County. Trooper Alcorn is a graduate of Clearwater High School, Piedmont, Missouri. After graduation he attended Three Rivers College in Poplar Bluff, Missouri, where he earned an Associate of Arts.

Trooper Micah G. Bennett, a native of Versailles, Missouri, has been assigned to Zone 2, serving the citizens of North St. Louis County. Trooper Bennett is a graduate of Pensacola Christian Acadamy, Pensacola, Florida. After graduation he attended State Fair Community College in Sedalia, Missouri, where he earned an Associate of Arts in criminal justice. Prior to his employment with the Highway Patrol, Trooper Bennett worked at the Morgan County Sheriff’s Department as a member of the jail staff. In addition to serving the state of Missouri, Trooper Bennett served in the United States Army.

Trooper Travis W. Burris, a native of Jefferson City, Missouri, has been assigned to Zone 7, serving the citizens of Warren County. Trooper Burris is a graduate of Jefferson City High School in Jefferson City, Missouri. After graduation, he attended Central Methodist University in Fayette, Missouri, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in criminal justice.

Trooper Eric M. Clark II, a native of St. Louis, Missouri, has been assigned to Zone 1, serving the citizens of North St. Louis County. Trooper Clark is a graduate of DeSmet Jesuit High School in St. Louis, Missouri. After graduation he attended Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, Illinois, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering. He then attended Minnesota State University in Mankato, Minnesota, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in ethnic studies & urban/regional planning. Trooper Clark also attended Regent University in Virginia Beach, Virgina, where he earned a Master of Divinity. In addition to serving the state of Missouri, Trooper Clark serves as a chaplin in the United States Army. Trooper Clark is married to Shantel (Patterson) and has three children, Nkuirka, Eric, and Erica.

Trooper Michael J. Frazier-Hires, a native of Sedalia, Missouri, has been assigned to Zone 4, serving the citizens of South St. Louis and North Jefferson counties. Trooper Frazier-Hires is a graduate of Smith-Cotton High School in Sedalia, Missouri. After graduation Trooper Frazier-Hires enlisted in the United States Army where he served for four years. After his enlistment with the United States Army, Trooper Frazier-Hires enlisted with the Missouri Army National Guard where he continues to serve. Trooper Frazier-Hires is married to Natasha (Hienen) and has one child, Holden.

Trooper David L. Holliday III, a native of Centralia, Missouri, has been assigned to Zone 9, serving the citizens of St. Charles County. Trooper Holliday is a graduate of Centralia High School in Centralia, Missouri. After graduation, he attended Columbia College in Columbia, Missouri, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in criminal justice administration.

Trooper Dontai O. Johnson, a native of Chicago, Illinois, has been assigned to Zone 9, serving the citizen of St. Charles County. Trooper Johnson is a graduate of Argo Community High School in Summit, Illinois. After graduation, he attended Central Methodist University in Fayette, Missouri, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in criminal justice.

Trooper Clay R. Knox, a native of Wentzville, Missouri, has been assigned to Zone 8, serving the citizens of St. Charles County. Trooper Knox is a graduate of Timberland High School in Wentzville, Missouri. After graduation, Trooper Knox joined the Missouri Army National Guard where he continues to serve.

Trooper Austin J. Leroux, a native of Doniphan, Missouri, has been assigned to Zone 3, serving the citizens of South St. Louis County. Trooper Leroux is a graduate of Doniphan High School in Doniphan, Missouri. After graduation, he attended Three Rivers College in Poplar Bluff, Missouri.

Trooper Caleb C. Marlow, a native of Iberia, Missouri, has been assigned to Zone 11, serving the citizens of Franklin County. Trooper Marlow is a graduate of Iberia High School. After graduation, he attended Columbia College in Jefferson City, Missouri, where he earned an Associate of Science in criminal justice.

Trooper Thadeus E. McVeigh, a native of Columbia, Missouri, has been assigned to Zone 14, serving the citizens of St. Francois and Washington counties. Trooper McVeigh is a graduate of David Hickman High School in Columbia, Missouri. After graduation he attended Hannibal La-Grange University in Hannibal, Missouri, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in criminal justice.

Trooper, Zachary L. Ogg, a native of Wellington, Colorado, has been assigned to Zone 7, serving the citizens of Warren County. Trooper Ogg is a graduate of Poudre High School in Fort Collins, Colorado. After graduation he attended Missouri Baptist University in Creve Coeur, Missouri. Prior to joining the Patrol, Trooper Ogg enlisted with the Missouri National Guard where he continues to serve.

Trooper Addie D. Pogue, a native of Farmington, Missouri, has been assigned to Zone 14, serving the citizens of St. Francois and Washington counties. Trooper Pogue is a graduate of Farmington Senior High School in Farmington, Missouri. After graduation, he attended North Central Missouri College in Trenton, Missouri, where he earned an Associate of Arts in general studies. Trooper Pogue also attended Westminster College in Fulton, Missouri, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in environmental science.

Trooper Noah A. Schuetz, a native of Goreville, Illinois, has been assigned to Zone 11, serving the citizens of Franklin County. Trooper Schuetz is a graduate of Goreville Senior High School. After graduation, he attended Shawnee Commnity College, in Ullin, Illinois, where he earned an Associate of Arts in criminal justice. Trooper Schuetz then attended the Southern Illinois University Carbondale, in Carbondale, Illinois, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in criminal justice.

Trooper Shelby W. Wulser, a native of Warrensburg, Missouri, has been assigned to Zone 1, serving the citizens of North St. Louis County. Trooper Wulser is a graduate of Concordia Senior High School, in Concordia, Missouri. After graduation, he attended the University of Central Missouri in Warrensburg, Missouri, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in criminal justice.
