Troop H Announces Hazardous Moving Operations--Thanksgiving Holiday
Captain James E. McDonald, commanding officer of Troop H, announces that during the Thanksgiving holiday weekend, Troop H will conduct hazardous moving operations in the following counties: Andrew, Atchison, Buchanan, Caldwell, Clinton, Daviess, Dekalb, Grundy, Harrison, Holt, Livingston, Mercer, Nodaway, and Worth. These operations will focus on violations that contribute to traffic crashes, such as speed, lane violations, following too close, and aggressive driving.
“The Missouri State Highway Patrol is dedicated to enforcing all traffic laws, especially those that contribute to traffic crashes,” stated Captain McDonald. “Obey the speed limit, wear your seat belt, and have a safe Thanksgiving holiday.”
The only 100 percent survivable traffic crash is the one that never happens. Make sure everyone in the vehicle is properly restrained in a seat belt or child restraint. Every day as we travel on Missouri’s roadways, we trust that every driver on the road is going to obey the speed limit, pay attention, and drive sober.
“Don’t Violate The Trust.”
