Troop F Announces Click It Or Ticket Enforcement Project Results
A total of 38 citations and 39 warnings were issued in conjunction with Click It or Ticket seat belt enforcement operations conducted in Gasconade, Montgomery, Howard and Boone counties on January 28, 2017. Also, troopers made one drug arrest and arrested one person for another criminal violation. Totals from this enforcement effort include:
4 -- seat belt citations
20 -- speed citations
1 -- hazardous moving violation citation
4 -- uninsured motorist citations
9 -- non-moving violation citations
“Wearing your seat belt is the single easiest way to protect yourself if you are involved in a traffic crash," said Troop F Commanding Officer, Captain Michael A. Turner. "Please be the safest driver you can possibly be. Always pay attention to the task of driving, and please wear your seat belt at all times.”
The only 100 percent survivable crash is the one that never happens. Make sure everyone in the vehicle is properly restrained in a seat belt or child restraint. Every day as we travel on Missouri’s roadways, we trust that every driver on the road is going to obey the speed limit, pay attention, and drive sober
. “Don’t Violate The Trust.”
