EMPHASIS: Enforcement Projects Announced For Troop E

Captain Jeffrey N. Vitale, commanding officer of Troop E, Poplar Bluff, Missouri, announces that sometime during the months of May and June 2018, Troop E officers will conduct a hazardous moving vehicle operation and a DWI saturation operation. The operations will be conducted by the Missouri State Highway Patrol in cooperation with local law enforcement agencies.

The driving while intoxicated saturation is a mobile operation in which troopers saturate a specific area to remove impaired drivers. The hazardous moving operation is designed to target vehicles that are being operated in a hazardous manner
.

The only 100 percent survivable traffic crash is the one that never happens. Make sure everyone in the vehicle is properly restrained in a seat belt or child restraint. Every day as we travel on Missouri’s roadways, we trust that every driver on the road is going to obey the speed limit, pay attention, and drive sober. “Don’t Violate The Trust.” Follow Troop E on Twitter for the most current news @MSHPTrooperE
