EMPHASIS: New Troopers Assigned To Troop F
Captain Jason N. Crites, commanding officer of Troop F, is pleased to announce the assignment of two new troopers to Troop F. The troopers are members of the Missouri State Highway Patrol’s 125th Recruit Class that graduated on Friday, April 10, 2026.
Trooper James Q. Chapman, of Eldon, MO, has been assigned to Zone 11, which serves the citizens of Camden and Miller counties. In 1999, Trooper Chapman graduated from Eldon High School. Prior to joining the Patrol, Trooper Chapman served as a police officer with the Osage Beach Police Department in Osage Beach, MO. Trooper Chapman also served in the United States Army for eight years as a military police officer.
Trooper Charles D. Jones, of Jefferson City, MO, has been assigned to Zone 6, which serves the citizens of Morgan and Moniteau counties. In 2004, Trooper Jones graduated from Jefferson City High School. Prior to joining the Patrol, Trooper Jones served as a police officer with the Jefferson City Police Department.
