EMPHASIS: Missouri State Highway Patrol Announces Promotion

Colonel Michael A. Turner, superintendent of the Missouri State Highway Patrol, would like to announce the following promotion effective July 1, 2025:

Chief Technician Howard “Trey” Carter has been promoted to Section Chief within the Infrastructure Support Unit of the Communications Division.

Section Chief Carter began his career with the Missouri State Highway Patrol on August 15, 2013, as a Communications Technician assigned to Troop C, Weldon Spring. On August 15, 2020, he was promoted to Chief Communications Technician and assigned to Troop F, Jefferson City.

Section Chief Carter is from Lohman, MO. He graduated from Cole County R-1 in Russellville, MO, in 2007.
