C2026-001 January 8, 2026 EMPHASIS: Troop C Seeking Applicants For Community Alliance Program
Captain Kevin W. Malugen, commanding officer of Troop C, Weldon Spring, MO, announces Troop C is seeking individuals interested in attending a Community Alliance Program. The Community Alliance Program will be held on Saturday, March 14, 2026, and will be hosted at the Troop C Headquarters in Weldon Spring. The Community Alliance Program is a unique opportunity for citizens to gain insight and understanding of the training and many duties of the Missouri State Highway Patrol. It offers an opportunity to meet and interact with troopers and civilian employees of the Patrol. Classroom and practical instruction will cover various topics, including criminal investigations, aircraft division, drone demonstration, marine division, motorcycle division, canine demonstration, SWAT, water patrol operations, and scenario-based training.
The class size is limited to 25 people and will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis, following a criminal record check. Anyone interested in, or seeking further information about the program, is encouraged to contact Sergeant Dallas Thompson at 636-300-2800 ext. 3340.
