EMPHASIS:
Troop G Conducts Move Over Enforcement
Captain Bruce D. Fiske, commanding officer of Troop G, Willow Springs, announces Troop G troopers conducted a special enforcement operation in Texas County on June 9, 2019. This operation targeted hazardous moving violations to include failing to move over for emergency vehicles, driving while intoxicated, excessive speed, improper passing, and aggressive driving. Totals for this operation include:
27 -- speed citations
8 -- seat belt citations
2 -- other hazardous moving violation citations
2 -- nonmoving violation citations
2 -- driver license violation citations
2 -- uninsured motorist citations
“The goal of this type of operation is to reduce crashes by providing a safer environment for the motoring public and first responders,” said Captain Fiske. “Troopers provided high visibility and strictly enforced all violations.”
The only 100 percent survivable traffic crash is the one that never happens. Make sure everyone
in the vehicle is properly restrained in a seat belt or child restraint. Every day as we travel on
Missouri’s roadways, we trust that every driver on the road is going to obey the speed limit, pay
attention, and drive sober.
“Don’t Violate The
Trust
.”
