Trooper Lee E. Hughes Jr. To Be Promoted To Corporal
Captain Jason J. Cluver, commanding officer of Troop E, Poplar Bluff, Missouri, is pleased to announce the following promotion.
Effective July 1, 2024, Trooper Lee E. Hughes Jr., of Poplar Bluff, was promoted to rank of corporal and designated the assistant supervisor of Zone 2, which serves the citizens of Butler and Ripley counties. He graduated from the Patrol’s Law Enforcement Academy in 2015 as part of the 101st Recruit Class. Upon graduation from the Academy, he was assigned to Troop E, Zone 1, which serves the citizens of Butler and Ripley counties.
Corporal Hughes is a graduate of Marion High School, Marion, South Carolina, and holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Sports Management from Tusculum College in Greenville, Tennessee. He is married to Amanda (Stepp) Hughes, and they have two children.
