EMPHASIS: Troop G Announces Promotions

Captain Bruce D. Fiske, commanding officer of Troop G, Willow Springs, announces the following Troop G promotions effective March 1, 2023.

Corporal Michael R. Greenan will be promoted to the rank of sergeant and designated zone supervisor in Zone 4, Northern Howell and Shannon counties. Greenan was appointed to the Patrol on October 1, 2001, as a member of the 79th Recruit Class. After graduating from the Patrol's Law Enforcement Academy, he was assigned to Troop I, Zone 7, Dent County. On September 1, 2005, he transferred to Troop G, Zone 3, Northern Howell and Shannon counties. In October 2011, he was assigned as the canine officer for Troop G. He remained in that position until October 2016, when he was assigned as the Troop G property control officer. On January 1, 2019, he was promoted to the rank of corporal.

Sergeant Greenan is a native of Mountain View, Missouri, and graduated from Liberty High School in Mountain View. Prior to joining the Patrol, he was a member of the United States Marine Corps, where he served as an infantryman. He is married and has two children.

Corporal Thomas W. Meyer will be promoted to the rank of sergeant and designated zone supervisor in Zone 7, Southern Howell and Oregon counties. Meyer was appointed to the Patrol on January 2, 2014, as a member of the 98th Recruit Class. After graduating from the Patrol's Law Enforcement Academy, he was assigned to Troop D, Zone 2, Greene County. On April 1, 2019, Meyer transferred to Troop G and was assigned to Zone 6, Southern Howell and Oregon counties. On April 1, 2020, Meyer was promoted to corporal and designated the assistant zone supervisor of Zone 8, Carter and Reynolds counties.

Sergeant Meyer is a native of West Plains, Missouri, and graduated from West Plains High School. He attended Evangel University in Springfield, Missouri, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in government. Sergeant Meyer is married and has two children.
