EMPHASIS: Tpr. Zachary A. Harrison Promoted To Corporal

Captain Larry W. Plunkett Jr., director of the Missouri State Highway Patrol’s Gaming Division, announces the following promotion effective February 1, 2019:

Trooper Zachary A. Harrison, Gaming Division, General Headquarters, Jefferson City, MO, was promoted to corporal and will remain in his present assignment at Mark Twain Casino in LaGrange, MO.

Harrison was appointed to the Patrol on January 6, 2008, as a member of the 87th Recruit Class. Upon completing his training at the Patrol’s Law Enforcement Academy, he was assigned to Troop B, Zone 7, Knox and Lewis counties. He transferred to the Gaming Division, General Headquarters, in February 2012. Harrison was recognized with both a Missouri State Highway Patrol Lifesaving Award and the Gaming Division Officer of the Year award in 2017.

Cpl. Harrison grew up in Hurdland, MO, and graduated from Knox County R-1 High School in 2005. He earned an Associate of Arts in criminal justice from Moberly Area Community College in Moberly, MO, in 2007. He earned an Associate of Arts in law enforcement from Mineral Area Community College in Park Hills, MO, in 2008. Cpl. Harrison is married to Lacy (Schneider), and they have two children.
