EMPHASIS: Troop E Promotions Announced

Captain Jason J. Cluver, commanding officer of Troop E, Poplar Bluff, is pleased to announce the following promotions effective March 1, 2024.

Corporal Richard L. Ayers is being promoted to the rank of sergeant and will remain in his current assignment as a marine operations trooper. He is a 1987 graduate of Doniphan High School in Doniphan, Missouri, and holds an associate degree in general studies from Three Rivers College in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. He was appointed to the Patrol on January 1, 1999, as a member of the 76th Recruit Class. After graduating from the Patrol’s Law Enforcement Academy, he was assigned to Troop E, Zone 3, which serves the citizens of Wayne County. On July 1, 2014, he was promoted to corporal and designated the assistant zone supervisor of Zone 3. On July 17, 2015, he transferred to Zone 15, the marine operations zone and was designated the zone supervisor. Sergeant Ayers and his wife, Lisa (Garrison), have two sons: Austin and Taylor.

Corporal Taremba Karizamimba has been promoted to the rank of sergeant and designated the zone supervisor of Zone 9, which serves the citizens of New Madrid and Pemiscot counties. He was appointed to the Patrol on July 1, 2015. After graduating from the Patrol’s Law Enforcement Academy, he was assigned to Troop E, Zone 6, which serves the citizens of Mississippi, New Madrid, and Scott counties. On July 1, 2021, he was promoted to the rank of corporal and designated the assistant zone supervisor on Zone 6. Karizamimba holds an Associate of Science degree in criminal justice from Mineral Area College in Park Hills, Missouri. Sergeant Karizamimba is married to Corinne (Allen) Karizamimba, and they have two children.
