EMPHASIS: TROOP B PROMOTIONS AND REASSIGNMENT
Captain John W. Elliott, Commanding Officer of Troop B, Macon, is pleased to announce the following promotions and reassignment of Troop B personnel effective October 19, 2003.
Corporal Brian N. Anderson of Macon, Missouri, was promoted to sergeant and designated the zone commander of Zone 11, which serves the citizens of Monroe and Randolph Counties.
Anderson, a native of Queen City, Missouri, was appointed to the Patrol on July 1, 1995. After graduating from the Patrol Academy, he was assigned to Troop B and stationed in Moberly. On June 1, 1999, he transferred to Macon and was assigned to Zone 1, which serves the citizens of Macon and Shelby Counties. On April 7, 2002, he was promoted to corporal and designated the assistant zone commander of Zone 2, in Macon. He graduated from Schuyler County R-1 High School and holds a bachelor’s of science degree in criminal justice from Central Missouri State University in Warrensburg, Missouri. He is married to Michele (Kempker) Anderson, a native of Centralia, Missouri.
Corporal Jeffery C. Creech of Perry, Missouri, was promoted to sergeant and designated the zone commander of Zone 7, which serves the citizens of Knox and Lewis Counties.
Creech, a native of Cumberland, Kentucky, was appointed to the Patrol on January 1, 1990. After graduating from the Patrol Academy, he was assigned to Troop B and stationed in Perry. On July 1, 1998, he was promoted to corporal and designated the assistant zone commander of Zone 8, which serves the citizens of Marion and Ralls Counties. He graduated from Cumberland High School in Cumberland, Kentucky and holds a bachelor’s of science degree in police administration from Eastern Kentucky University in Richmond, Kentucky. He is married to Alicia (Watson) Creech, a native of Decatur City, Iowa. They have one son: Jordan, 13.
Trooper Andrew L. Bryan of Palmyra, Missouri, was promoted to corporal and designated the assistant zone commander of Zone 8, which serves the citizens of Marion and Ralls Counties.
Bryan, a native of Paris, Missouri, was appointed to the Patrol on January 1, 1996. After graduating from the Patrol Academy, he was assigned to Troop F and stationed in Montgomery City. On February 1, 1999, he transferred to Troop B and assigned to Zone 9, which serves the citizens of Marion and Ralls Counties. He is a graduate of Paris High School and holds a bachelor’s of science degree in criminal justice from Columbia College in Columbia, Missouri. He is married to Jennifer (Zmuda) Bryan, a native of Chesterfield, Missouri, and they have two children: Alicia, 3; and Amy, 1.
Trooper Kevin C. Kelley of Brookfield, Missouri, was promoted to corporal and designated the assistant zone commander of Zone 3, which serves the citizens of Chariton and Linn Counties.
Kelley, a native of Brookfield, Missouri, was appointed to the Patrol on July 1, 1994. After graduating from the Patrol Academy, he was assigned to Troop B and stationed in Hannibal. Since that time he has been assigned to Zone 1, Macon; Zone 10, Moberly; Zone 5, Kirksville, and Zone 3, Brookfield. He is a graduate of Brookfield R-3 High School and holds a bachelor’s of science degree in criminal justice from Culver Stockton College in Canton, Missouri. He has three children: Ashley and Brooke, 7; and Kathryn, 2.
Corporal Steven V. Wilhoit of Macon, Missouri, was reassigned from Zone 3, Brookfield, to Zone 2, Macon. He will serve as the assistant zone commander of Zone 2, which serves the citizens of Macon and Shelby Counties.
