EMPHASIS: Trooper Dustin H. Crafton Promoted To Corporal
Captain Jason N. Crites, commanding officer of Troop F, announces the following promotion effective February 1, 2026.
Trooper Dustin H. Crafton is promoted to corporal of Troop F, Zone 11, which serves the citizens of Camden and Miller counties.
Crafton joined the Missouri State Water Patrol in January 2004, as a member of the 32nd Recruit Class. Upon graduating from the academy, he was assigned to the Lake of the Ozarks. In 2012, after the merger of the Missouri State Water Patrol merged with the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Corporal Crafton transferred to Zone 7, which serves the citizens of Cooper and Howard counties. Corporal Crafton transferred back to Lake of the Ozarks, as a Marine Operations Trooper, in 2014. In 2020, Corporal Crafton transferred to Zone 12, which serves the citizens of Osage and Gasconade counties.
Corporal Crafton grew up in Piedmont, MO. In 2000, he graduated from Clearwater R-1 High School in Piedmont.
