EMPHASIS: Troop H Promotions


Captain Duane L. Robinson, commanding officer of Troop H in St. Joseph, announces the promotion of three officers.
Corporal James J. Rongey has been promoted to the rank of sergeant and designated the zone commander of Zone 3, in Bethany. Prior to his promotion, he was assistant zone commander of zone 3, which serves Gentry and Harrison counties. Rongey is a graduate of Trenton High School and holds an associate’s of arts degree from North Central Missouri College. Sergeant Rongey is married to the former Rachael Key, also of Trenton. The couple has two children.
Trooper Andrew A. Henry has been promoted to the rank of corporal and designated assistant zone commander of Zone 10, which serves Daviess and Dekalb counties. Prior to his promotion, Henry was assigned to Zone 7, in Cameron. He is a native of Creston, IA. and holds a bachelor’s degree in administration of justice from Hannibal LaGrange College. Corporal Henry is married to the former Kimberly Graham, of Florissant, MO. The couple has four children.
Trooper Lance Newman has been promoted to the rank of corporal and designated assistant zone commander of Zone 3, in Bethany. Prior to his promotion, he was assigned to the Patrol’s Gaming Division. He grew up in Hamilton and graduated from high school there. Newman attended William Jewel College and Northwest Missouri State University, before earning an associate’s of arts degree in criminal justice from Mineral Area College. Corporal Newman is married to the former Michelle Baker, of Cameron.
