EMPHASIS: Troop I To Conduct Hazardous Moving Enforcement Operation In Dent County

Captain James W. Remillard, commanding officer of Troop I, announces that during the month of September 2018, Troop I officers will conduct an enforcement project in Dent County. In addition to the Labor Day Holiday Operation C.A.R.E., officers will participate in a hazardous moving operation. Special emphasis will be placed on excessive speed, following too close, improper lane changes, and driving while impaired violations. Troopers will concentrate their efforts in areas where, in the past, traffic crashes have occurred as a result of these violations.

The only 100 percent survivable traffic crash is the one that never happens. Make sure everyone in the vehicle is properly restrained in a seat belt or child restraint. Every day as we travel on Missouri’s roadways, we trust that every driver on the road is going to obey the speed limit, pay attention, and drive sober. “Don’t Violate The Trust.”
