EMPHASIS: Retirement At General Headquarters
Colonel Michael A. Turner, superintendent of the Missouri State Highway Patrol, announces the retirement of Lead Executive Administrative Support Professional Mary A. Redel, effective September 1, 2026. She will retire after 17 years of dedicated service.
Redel joined the Patrol on June 16, 2009, as a clerk typist III in the Motor Vehicle Inspection Division. On March 3, 2013, she was promoted to clerk IV/division secretary and transferred to the Fleet and Facilities Division. Redel was promoted to special assistant for the Criminal Investigation Bureau and Support Services Bureau on March 31, 2019. On August 18, 2019, she was promoted to designated principal assistant for the Administrative Services Bureau, Executive Services Bureau, and Technical Services Bureau. Redel was promoted to lead executive administrative support professional for the Superintendent’s Office on May 1, 2024, where she currently serves as the assistant to the colonel.
