EMPHASIS: Eight New Troopers Assigned To Troop C

Captain Ryan A. Burckhardt, commanding officer of Troop C, Weldon Spring, is pleased to announce the assignment of eight new troopers to Troop C. The new troopers were members of the Missouri State Highway Patrol’s 113th Recruit Class and graduated from the Patrol Academy on June 24, 2022. The new troopers from the 113th Recruit Class will report for duty on July 11, 2022.

Trooper Adam P. Billiot, a native of Sulphur, Louisiana, has been assigned to Zone 4, serving the citizens of South St. Louis and Northern Jefferson counties. Trooper Billiot is a 2012 graduate of Sulphur High School in Sulphur, Louisiana. Trooper Billiot served as a member of the United States Air Force from 2013-2017, as an intelligence analyst. He continues to serve in the U.S. Air Force Reserve as a security forces specialist.

Trooper Nicholas J. Bringer, a native of Lewistown, Missouri, has been assigned to Zone 13, serving the citizens of Jefferson County. Trooper Bringer is a 2016 graduate of Highland High School, in Lewistown, Missouri. He attended Culver Stockton College where he earned a Bachelor of Science in criminal justice.

Trooper Jack J. Collins, a native of Bolivar, Missouri, has been assigned to Zone 13, serving the citizens of Jefferson County. Trooper Collins is a 2017 graduate of Bolivar High School in Bolivar, Missouri. Trooper Collins joined the United States Marine Corps Reserve since 2017, and is currently a lance corporal.

Trooper Trey A. Gaedke, a native of Newburg, Missouri, has been assigned to Zone 3, serving the citizens of South St. Louis and Northern Jefferson counties. Trooper Gaedke is a 2017 graduate of Newburg High School in Newburg, Missouri. Trooper Gaedke attended Central Methodist University in Fayette, Missouri, where he received a Bachelor of Science in criminal justice.

Trooper Mayer E. Mitchell, a native of Ballwin, Missouri, has been assigned to Zone 16, serving the citizens of Ste. Genevieve and Perry counties. Trooper Mitchell received a GED in 2015.

Trooper Eric R. Sikes, a native of Sacramento, California, has been assigned to Zone 2, serving the citizens of North St. Louis County. Trooper Sikes moved to O'Fallon, Missouri, and graduated from Fort Zumwalt West High School in 2008. Trooper Sikes attended Missouri State University in Springfield, Missouri, where he studied geology. Prior to his employment, Trooper Sikes worked at Monsanto as a scientist.

Trooper Richard J. Waite, a native of Louisiana, Missouri, has been assigned to Zone 5, serving the citizens of Lincoln and Pike counties. Trooper Waite is a 2008 graduate of David H. Hickman High School in Columbia, Missouri. Prior to his employment, Trooper Waite served as a corrections officer at the Northeast Correctional Center in St. Charles, Missouri.

Trooper Clayton J. Walker, a native of Marble Hill, Missouri, has been assigned to Zone 14, serving the citizens of St. Francois and Washington counties. Trooper Walker is a 2007 graduate of Woodland R-4 High School in Marble Hill, Missouri. Trooper Walker attended Southeast Missouri State University in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in criminal justice. Prior to his employment, Trooper Walker served as a corrections officer for the Missouri Department of Corrections in Charleston, Missouri.
