EMPHASIS: Troop E Promotion Announced

Captain Philip E. Gregory, commanding officer of Troop E, Poplar Bluff, is pleased to announce the following promotion effective October 1, 2022.

Trooper Emily M. Westmoreland has been promoted to the rank of corporal and designated the assistant zone supervisor of Zone 2, which serves the citizens of Butler and Ripley counties. She was appointed to the Patrol on January 5, 2015, as a member of the 100th Recruit Class. After graduating from the Patrol's Law Enforcement Academy, she was assigned to Troop E, Zone 2, which serves the citizens of Butler and Ripley counties. Corporal Westmoreland is a graduate from Perryville High School, and holds a bachelor’s of science degree in criminal justice from Southeast Missouri State University in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.
