Trooper Chad K. Johnson has been assigned to Zone 1, servicing Texas and Wright counties. Trooper Johnson is a native of Seymour, Missouri. He was homeschooled and obtained his High School Equivalency certificate in 2007. He later attended Drury University in Springfield, Missouri. Before joining the Patrol, he served as a Deputy for the Wright County Sheriff’s Office in Hartville, Missouri. Trooper Johnson is married to Aly (Mackey) Johnson. His zone supervisor is Sergeant Ryan D. Vaughan, and his field training officer is Corporal Justin Piccinino. Trooper Johnson was a member of the 118th Recruit Class of the Missouri State Highway Patrol. The class commenced training on July 3, 2023 and graduated on December 22, 2023. Trooper Johnson will report for duty on January 8, 2024.
