EMPHASIS: Fenton, MO, Man Arrested/Charged With Child Pornography

The Missouri State Highway Patrol’s Division of Drug and Crime Control (DDCC) announces the arrest of Cooper A. Rodman 31, of Fenton, MO, for Possession of Child Pornography. The arrest is the result of an investigation conducted by the Special Victims Unit (SVU). The Missouri Digital Forensic Center and the Missouri State Technical Assistance Team assisted with the investigation.

In May 2026, SVU investigators conducted an online investigation for offenders sharing child pornography over the internet. During the investigation, an IP address associated with Cooper was identified as storing child sexual abuse material.

On June 9, 2026, investigators executed a search warrant at a residence in Fenton, MO. SVU investigators contacted and questioned Cooper, regarding possession of child pornography. Videos containing child pornography were located on electronic devices at the residence. As a result, Cooper was arrested and transported to the St. Louis County Jail. A probable cause statement was forwarded to the St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney for consideration of felony charges.

The St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney formally charged Cooper with two counts of Possession of Child Pornography. He is being held at the St. Louis County Justice Center on $75,000 bond.

DDCC encourages internet users to promptly report to the Patrol or local law enforcement anyone who attempts to engage in unwanted, inappropriate, or sexualized communications with children.

The charges for which the above individuals were arrested are mere accusations and not evidence of guilt. Evidence in support of these charges must be presented before a court of competent jurisdiction whose duty is to determine guilt or innocence.
